Track Maintenance and Renewals:
We provide regular inspection, repair, and replacement of rail tracks to ensure the smooth and safe operation of trains. Panel Relaying takes place on midweek nights and over weekend closures to minimise the disruption to train services.
We maintain and repair all types of the railway infrastructure, including bridges, culverts, tunnels, and level crossings
Building & Facilities - Platforms and Station Buildings
CRS provides the largest maintenance and trade crews to our clients on the Irish Rail Network. Activities include:
Essential maintenance, repairing station buildings roofs, restoring windows and doors at stations with historical significance. Repairing and repainting existing and new buildings, repointing works, vegetation removal and many other services throughout the rail network.
Infrastructure Projects on the Rail Network
Works include – Retaining wall renewals, civil engineering works, mini piling, slope stabilisation, UTX installation, vegetation removal, bridge renewal, TER rooms, plant rooms.
Signalling, Electrical and Telecommunications Assistance
Works include – Cable route Installation, including pipe works, manhole construction, cabling both trunk cabling and local cabling, points & crossing equipment installation under direct supervision, assistance with preventative maintenance activities (electrical)
